Propagation speeds back to normal

Normal speeds for DNS update propagation were restored at approximately 3:30am this morning, sorry for not posting the resolution to this earlier. Apologies to all affected. Suffice it to say, the next version of the easyDNS platform (which we are launching in early '08) uses a different DNS backend methodology at the master server which will avoid bottleneck situations of the type encountered.

DNS Propagation Issue...

We are currently experiencing an issue with the propagation of DNS changes for some domains to our nameserver cluster. This issue is receiving the utmost attention by our sysAdmins, and we hope to have it resolved shortly.

Domains will still resolve with their current DNS settings, but some changes made in the last few hours may not be reflected upon our nameservers.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us via " support@easydns.com ", and include your domain(s) that are affected.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

Maintenance Window in Effect

We are conducting a maintenance window on the public and member's web interface until approx. 2am EST. We apologize for the lack of notice around this.

All DNS, email and URL forwarding functions are operating normally and are not affected by this window.

easyDNS Maintenance - Wed December 5th, 2007

On Wednesday December 5th / 2007 we will be performing maintenance on our primary database systems. The maintenance will begin at 11pm (EST) and will last approximately 1 hour. During this time there will be intermittent periods where the easydns.com and members.easydns.com website will not be available.

Once the maintenance is complete a further note will be posted to the easyDNS statuspage.

Hi there,

We will be conducting a very, very short maintenance on mailout.easydns.com tonight (December 2nd 2007) between 11:00pm and 11:20pm EST. This work will impact the outbound mail service, but will not result in the loss of any data.
