.COM and .NET wholesale price goes up tomorrow, easyDNS doesn't.

Verisign is increasing the wholesale cost of .COM and .NET domains by 48 cents for .COM domains and 42 cents for .NET. easyDNS will absorbing the additional wholesale costs into existing pricing.

HST Comes into effect tomorrow in Canada

easywhois issues.

We are currently experiencing issues with easywhois being able to connect to remote whois servers to retrieve domain whois information. Our operations team are working on the problem.

Greylisting control now available

Like most ISPs, we've been employing the tactic of greylisting to cut down on the amount of spam and viruses we get and forward to our customer email addresses via their mailmaps or backup mail spools.

Instant DNS Activation & force 301 headers on URL forwarding

Following on the heels of our earlier unveiling of tweet2txt, I thought I'd mention 2 new features of the new platform that I think our members will agree are long welcome additions: Instant DNS activation for new domains and optional 301 Redirects for URL forwarding.

Not even sure why we did this other than "because we could", but try this: Setup a txt record in your domain like this: host IN TXT ""v=twitterstatus1 txthost twitterid" And basically what happens is the last tweet from "twitterid" will be placed into the contents of a TXT record for "txthost" under your domain [...]
